About the Register

Nobody could see the field. So we measured it.

Most AU and NZ businesses have no idea how their digital performance compares to the competitors they actually lose work to. Agencies guess, dashboards flatter, and the honest answer — "where do I stand in my field?" — had no independent source.

So we built one. The RADAR Digital Index scores every business in a cohort the same way, on the same data, on the same day — and ranks them. Independently, whether they've asked to be scored or not.

What RADAR is — and isn't

A benchmark of digital performance. Nothing more.

IT IS
  • A comparative benchmark of digital performance within an industry cohort
  • Built from public signals — reviews, links, search visibility, your live site
  • Re-measured every quarter, the same way for everyone
IT ISN'T
  • ×A valuation or a credit rating
  • ×A judgement of the business — a low score reflects digital presence, not service quality
  • ×A universal grade — every score is relative to your own field

Methodology honesty

If we're not sure, we say so.

A public benchmark is only worth what its honesty is. So the method is cohort-relative by design, third-party search estimates are framed as the approximations they are, and everything published is aggregated and anonymised.

When data is missing, confidence goes down — it never gets invented.

THE RULES WE SCORE BY
  • Cohort-relative, by design
  • Estimates called estimates
  • Aggregated and anonymised
  • Missing data lowers confidence — never invented
AN INITIATIVE OF REDFOX DIGITAL

Built in Australia, for the businesses of AU and NZ.

Redfox Digital built the Register and keeps it swept. The benchmark stands on its own — Redfox is one way to close the gaps it finds, never a condition of being scored.
